Singer Lim Young-woong brought in 400,000 Anipang users who left.
Anipang is a so-called "national game" that was released in 2012 and recorded 37 million downloads. To mark the 10th anniversary of Anipang, WeMade Play has held an event since the 15th of last month to present gifts when performing a game mission with Lim Young-woong at the forefront.
As a result, 230,000 existing users returned to "Anipang 2," which was released in 2014, and 200,000 returned to "Anipang 3," which was introduced in 2016. 300,000 new users flocked to "Anipang 4," which was released last year.
The Anipang series set a new record of simultaneously entering the top 10 in Google Play's popular game rankings during the festival. This is unusual in light of the precedent in which rankings are formed mainly based on new works.
In the case of 15-second and 30-second TV commercial videos featuring Lim Young-woong, the total number of views on YouTube exceeded 5.5 million.
